Kids are not “mini adults”: As a pediatric legal nurse consultant, I bring specialized expertise in pediatric healthcare - offering insight into age-specific standards of care, developmental considerations, and the nuances of pediatric medical records. Since graduating nursing school magna cum laude in 2013, I have worked solely in pediatrics - home care, pediatric ICU, pediatric cardiovascular ICU, neonatal ICU, and critical care transport. From 2014-2022 I worked at Level 1 Trauma Centers in Minnesota and California, with experience in pediatric subspecialties that include cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, neurology, non-accidental trauma, psychiatric, oncology, hematology and nephrology. I currently oversee a nursing-lead, physician-supervised outpatient pediatric sedation program in Montana.
